About The Band

Séanachie Óg evolved from Sunday night sessions held at the Alexandra Pub in High Barnet, England – what was one of the friendliest pubs in London (formerly owned by Pat Galley from Galway). Formed in 2003, the band's unique blend of experience, youth, energy, creativity and professionalism goes beyond the usual Irish pub fare with their extensive repertoire of songs and traditional tunes elevating the atmosphere and bringing the great spirit of Irish music to life.

Their talents have taken them on tour to Ireland, New York and Pennsylvania six years running and in 2011 they celebrated the launch of their latest studio album, 'Bout Time, with a sold out St. Patrick's Day concert at North London's Artsdepot theatre shortly followed by performances in Tallinn, Estonia. The following summer they performed in Toulouse, France and later returned to the Artsdepot once again in September.
